Justin and I have been shooting portraits of this guy below for his resume. We set up the Pratt studio with all the needed lights and props for a studio shoot thinking that we were doing shots for an actor/actress. Apparently it is standard practice to supply an image for the cover of your resume in Germany. I had shot an entire office last year and one of their employees was moving home with her husband/boyfriend and he needed to have a smart looking resume. We didn’t charge much for the shoot, but we both enjoyed setting the room up and realised we should be using it more. It must be a great gig for photographers in Germany. I find the retouching a little bit of a drag, as I’m not very good at it, but I persevere and try to not make them lok too plastic. This image is as close as we could get to his example image of “Olaf” who has included his date of birth, place of birth, and marital status on his cover page. (How different Europe is from America!!)

In South Africa it’s common, and mostly expected, to include your religious beliefs on your CV as well.
