I’m assisting on this shoot in a studio on Broadway, and this monstrosity was hanging in the bathroom. It takes the cake for terrible art! I understand that hotels have to fill space with generic work that should never be noticed, but this is the only thing hanging in this photography studio (at least it was in the bathroom).
For an interesting article about art that is not terrible, look here. It’s all about the video capabilities of the Canon 5D high def video. (You may cry once you’ve seen it, although there are only images of the video due to high volume!!) Imagine shooting video with a prime lens that has an aperture of 2.8 and the details are full force. You can only shoot about 2 minutes at a time though!
