Aurora’s Bridal Shower
I attended/photographed my first (and probably last) high tea bridal shower this weekend at the Carlyle Hotel. Aurora’s wedding is in May by which time her fiance will have moved from the UK and we’ll all be dressed up in penguin suits and ready to celebrate.

Photographer Detained on March 17, 2006
It was 4 years ago today that I was walking down a sidewalk in White Plains and was grabbed by courthouse police and detained for 2 hours under suspected terrorism charges. All I did was take a picture of a flag outside of a court house. I took the whole story to the local press and it got picked up all over the place. Thankfully it isn’t the first thing that comes up when you google me now, but it took a few years.

I want to give Fujifilm a hug
It either takes a lot of guts, or a lot of stupidity for Fujifilm to actually release the new GF670 in America. Either way, it’s a pretty sexy looking camera. I used to own an old voigtlander 6×9 camera that looked very similar (in an old and beaten up sort of way), and I would often get stopped and asked about it.
